Lone Tree Cultural Arts Foundation Heart of Giving Affair, February 13, 2011
Approximately 200 members of the community attended the Heart of Giving Affair hosted by the LTCAF and Park Meadows Retail Resort on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in the Nordstrom Court of Park Meadows. Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres provided by California Cafe and the sounds of the Mountain Air String Quartet and a jazz performance by LTCAF Chair, Art Bouton on saxaphone, Dave Hanson on keyboard, and Peter Huffaker on bass. The Public had the opportunity to meet and greet Lone Tree Arts Center Executive Director Lisa Rigsby Peterson and project architect Bradford Watson of Westlake, Reed and Leskoski. Special guest, Natalie Tysdal from KWGN, announced the winners of two tickets to an inaugural season performance at the Lone Tree Arts Center, two gift cards for California Cafe, and one 50 minute massage at The Spa at the Inverness. Guests also had the opportunity to order Seat Plaques that will be placed on seats in the Mainstage Theatre.
Inaugural Lone Tree Arts Center Guild Meeting, October 20, 2010
The Lone Tree Arts Center Guild is in the making. The inaugural Guild meeting was held October 20, 2010 at the home of George and Diana Bye. Over forty guests were in attendance, enjoying presentations by Executive Director Lisa Rigsby Peterson, and Arts Center Project Director and Head Designer Bradford Watson from the architecture firm of Westlake, Reed and Leskosky. This enthusiastic group heard about many of the activities planned for the Arts Center’s first year, and got a personalized digital tour through the building itself. Many attendees signed up to be Charter Members of the Guild on the spot!
Lone Tree Arts Center Groundbreaking Ceremony, March 18, 2010
On March 18, 2010, over 175 community representatives, business leaders, arts and civic representatives gathered in celebration of the groundbreaking of the Lone Tree Arts Center. Attendees got a glimpse of the Art Center's design renderings, enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and refreshments provided by Sprouts Farmer's Market and mingled with City Council and Lone Tree Cultural Arts Foundation Board and Campaign Cabinet Members. A Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra brass quintet brightened the ceremony with a specially written fanfare.
